Lina Saneh works primarily in theatre. Educated at the Lebanese University in Beirut and the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, she has written, directed and acted in numerous plays that has been presented intrenationally, including Les Chaises (1996), Ovrira (1997), Extrait d’État Civil (2000). She has collaborated with Rabih Mroué on Biokhraphia (2002), Who’s Afraid of Representation (2005) and most recently - How Nancy Wished That Everything Was An April Fool's Joke (2007). She is currently an assistant professor at the Institut d’Études Scéniques et Audio-Visuelles at the Université Saint Joseph in Beirut and Université Saint Esprit de Kaslik at Jounieh.
